Cthulu is like the only old god I have heard of. He is a squid or something, isn't he? Do you know some of the other old gods? That is a great drawing. I love the hand grasping towards you, and his mouth is kind of freaky!

Well Cthulhu is described as being humanoid of "cyclopian size" with bat like wings, and a squid like head with tentacles over his mouth.

Some of the other gods are:

Azathoth - He is the planet Jupiter, and is the second most powerful Elder god. He has the power of the universe.

Yog-Sothoth - The most powerful of the elder gods. He is the power to cross dimensions.

Nyharlathotep - One of the Elder gods who is not entirely evil. Resides in a place called "the dreamlands" he helped the Egyptians build the pyramids.

Shub-Niggarath - "The black goat of the woods" or "The goat with a thousand ewe". She is the mother of all monsters. She is from Yugoth if I recall.

Hastur - The king in yellow. From a place called "lost Carcosa", once was a mighty king, but his empire fell due to his lust for power. Apparently he is Cthulhu's half brother. He still lives in Lost Carcosa.

Yig - The lord of the serpent people. He is easy to anger, and easy to please, he is also very greedy and wants dominion if the earth.

Ithaqua - God of the Windigo, he comes from the Platau of Leng. He likes the cold and wants to freeze the earth.

There are many more, thats just off the top of my head.

Wow, those elder gods are really interesting. I can't wait until I can take mythology in school. Ithaqua sounds really cool, so does Azazoth and Yog Sathoth. (Is Yog inspiration for Blizzard's Yog Sarron boss?)

All of these gods are fictional. If you wish to learn more about them, you should read the collective works of H.P Lovecraft. His writing was so profound that it created its own mythos and cult like following.
